WS Packaging Group to Acquire SenecaSalem Inc. WS Packaging Group to Acquire SenecaSalem Inc. Purchase will add capabilities to the WS product portfolio Algoma, Wis., November 1, 2007—WS Packaging Group Inc. has signed a
definitive agreement to purchase SenecaSalem Inc..
“Having SenecaSalem as part of WS’ future is a
great win for all of us,” said Terry Fulwiler, chief executive officer. “Adding
their superior knowledge of flexible film and their other capabilities to our product
offering strengthens our strategic initiatives to be the ‘single source’ for
all our customers’ printing and packaging needs.” WS Packaging Group Inc. is one of the largest printing and
label converting operations in North America. SenecaSalem’s two facilities will
complement WS Packaging Group’s 16 manufacturing facilities. Its customers
range in size from small businesses to large, high-volume manufacturers and Fortune
500 consumer product goods companies doing business locally, nationally and in
marketplaces worldwide. “We’re truly
excited by the opportunity to join WS Packaging Group,” said Randy Hicks,
